SPECIAL SERVICE BUREAU GETS A NEW CHIEF

Shri Divakar Prasad a 1968 batch IPS Officer (HP) took over as the new Director General of Special Service Bureau on today. He replaces Shri B.L. Vohra, IPS who was holding the additional charge of SSB. Shri Divakar Prasad has taken over the reigns of SSB at a crucial time when the force is entrusted with the additional duty of guarding Indo-Bhutan border apart from its existing role of policing Indo-Nepal border. Prior to his posting at SSB Shri Prasad was holding the charge of Additional Director, Intelligence Bureau.
