FUNDS AND FOODGRAINS RELEASED TO MADHYA PRADESH UNDER SGRY

Ministry of Rural Development has released funds and foodgrains to 3 districts of Madhya Pradesh under Sampoorna Grameen Rojgar Yojana (SGRY) during 2003-2004. Mandla district gets Rs.234.66 lakh and 424 tonnes of common wheat and 2740 tonnes of common rice, Ujjain gets Rs. 151.87 lakh and 1227 tonnes of common wheat and 821 tonnes of common rice under SGRY. An amount of Rs. 204.58 lakh has been released as first installment of funds to Dindori District. 566 tonnes of wheat and 2193 tonnes of rice has also been released to Dindori District.

Ministry has released an amount of Rs.119.76 lakh towards the first instalment representing 20% of GOI share of Rs.598.80 lakh for Barwani District of Madhya Pradesh under the Total Sanitation Campaign of the Central Rural Sanitation Programme.
