ANDHRA PRADESH GETS FUNDS FOR UPDATING OF LAND RECORDS

Ministry of Rural Development has released Rs 750 lakh under Centrally Sponsored Scheme for Strengthening of Revenue Administration & Updating of Land Records.

The Scheme is being implemented by the State Government through their Revenue/Land Reforms Department.

The main objective of the scheme is strengthening of Survey and Settlement Organisation of the States/UTs for early completion and preparation of land records.

The amount will be utilised for Construction of Regional Survey Training Centres, Construction of additional record rooms, Modern survey equipments, Vehicles for transportation of survey equipments for training institutes, Storage facility, Map cabinets, Photocopiers, laminating and binding machines.
