RAILWAY MINISTER CONDOLES DEMISE OF MURASOLI MARAN

The Union Minister of Railways Shri Nitish Kumar has condoled the death of Shri Murasoli Maran, Union Minister Without Portfolio.

In a message to the bereaved family, Shri Nitish Kumar said that Shri Maran was a journalist, a social worker and an able administrator—all in one. His articulation of India’s case in the Doha Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and for that matter the cause of the Third World would be long remembered. He said that Shri Maran was a very smiling face of the Southern India. May his soul rest in peace, he added.
