SETTING UP A POWER GRID SUB-STATION AT SHEETALPUR IN BIHAR

Government of Bihar/Bihar State Electricity Board propose to construct a new 132/33 KV substation at Sheetalpur in Saran District of Bihar with a transformation capacity of 2x20 MVA as a part of the comprehensive scheme for strengthening the sub-transmission system in Bihar, to be executed by Powergrid as a deposit work. The cost of construction of the sub-station at Sheetalpur would be Rs.9.2 crore (Approx.). The execution of the scheme shall commence after the signing of an agreement between Ministry of Power, Government of Bihar, Bihar State Electricity Board and Powergrid and same is being finalised expeditiously. The works are expected to be completed progressively in a period of two years from the date of receipt of 1st tranche of grant.
