Australia has keen
interest on improving educational ties with India. This was
emerged at a meeting of a six member Australian delegation headed
by its Minister of Trade, Mr. Mark Vaila with the Minister for
Human Resources and Development, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi here
today. The two sides discussed all impediments in the way
of betterment of ties on higher education and decided to
chalk out a basic framework before embarking on any cooperation
agreement.
Dr. Joshi told
the Australian Minister that India is open for cooperation and
that it should be on equal footing.
