DOUBLE-STACK CONTAINER TRAINS

A feasibility study
is in progress for the movement of double stack containers to
and from the ports on the west coast, namely Kandla, Pipavav and
Mundra. The Report has not yet been submitted.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Basanagouda
R. Patil in a written reply to a question from Shri B.J. Panda
in the Rajya Sabha today.
