MILITARY SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTRY
About Rs.6.4 crore
is allocated each year to the five Military schools run in the
country. These schools are at Ajmer and Dholpur in Rajasthan,
Belgaum and Bangalore in Kamataka and Chail in Himachal Pradesh
The Government does
not proposed to set up more military schools in the country. The
non-government organisation will not be permitted to run the military
schools.
This information was given by
the Defence Minister Shri George Fernandes in a written reply
to Shri Haribhau Shankar Mahale in Lok Sabha today.
