FIPB CLEARS 47 PROPOSALS

The Union Minister of Finance and Company Affairs, Shri Jaswant Singh has approved 47 proposals recommended by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) in its meetings held on March 27 and April 3, 2003. The approvals amount to Rs.285 crores.   The major investment proposals pertain to business of outsourcing/back office operations centre, wholesale marketing, distribution, supply, import, export, distribution of high performance polyolefin products, manufacture of design and development of systems and application software development, transportation, airfreight and ocean freight forwarding and development of integrated township/model towns.
