The President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in his message on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti which is being celebrated tomorrow, has said:-

"On the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, I extend my greetings to all my fellow citizens.

May Lord Mahavira’s noble teachings inspire us to work for peace, non-violence and harmony among our people. Let us emulate his preaching of right faith, right knowledge and right conduct. On this day, we should take a vow to re-dedicate ourselves to work for the welfare of humanity."
