Vice President of India Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, has conveyed his greetings to the people on the occasion of Ram Navami. He said, "I greet the people of India on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, which celebrates the birth of Lord Rama.

Lord Rama, as Maryada Purushottam epitomised in him the noble virtues and high ideals, which have inspired countless generations of men and women. He set high standards of conduct to be followed by mankind. He stood for the ideal that the good and righteousness shall always emerge victorious.
