FEED CATEGORY FOODGRAINS TO ORISSA
AND CHHAITTSGARH
Food Ministry has allotted 500 MTs of cattle
feed each to the Animal Welfare Board of India in Orissa and Chhaittsgarh
for distribution in the drought affected areas of these states.
These allotments are made on priority basis from the depots in
which these stocks are located.
The Animal Welfare Board of these states can
lift either wheat or rice or both subject to the condition that
the total quantity does not exceed 500 MTs in each state.
Similar allotments had been made by the Ministry
of Food last year during drought to these states for meeting the
requirements of cattle feed.
