PRESIDENT CONDEMNS TERRORIST ATTACK ON JAMMU TEMPLES


The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has condemned the attack on Jammu temples by terrorist groups and expressed serious concern over the fact that this was the second time that a place of worship was being attacked by terrorists in recent times.

The President is sure that our Security Forces will be able to contain the damage and protect human lives. He was confident that all patriotic people would galvanise efforts to thwart such dastardly attacks.

The President had a telephonic conversation with the Prime Minister who briefed him on the situation and the action being taken.

The President has extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and sympathises with those who suffered in this terrorist outrage. The entire nation is with them in this hour of grief. Peace has to and will prevail, the President averred.
