The President of India
has been pleased to accept the resignation of Dr.(Smt.) Rajani
Rai from the office of the Lieutenant-Governor of Pondicherry.
The President has
been pleased to appoint Shri K.R. Malkani as the Lieutenant-Governor
of Pondicherry with effect from the date he assumes charge of
his office.
