Kudremukh Iron Ore
Company Ltd. KIOCL a 100 per cent export oriented public sector
unit of the Steel Ministry has been conferred CAPEXIL’s Special
Export Award for the year 2001-2002 for its outstanding iron ore
export performance. The Deputy General Manager, (Commercial) of
the company, Shri J.C. Bahl today received the award from the
Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industries, Shri Rajiv
Pratap Ruddy. CAPEXIL is the official body of the Union Ministry
of Commerce set up to develop and promote export.
KIOCL has been a
global player since inception and has emerged as a precious foreign
exchange earner for the country. The company has been making profits
since last eleven years.
