YOGENDRA NARAIN
APPOINTED SECRETARY-GENERAL RAJYA SABHA
Vice-President of India and Hon’ble Chairman,
Rajya Sabha has been pleased to appoint Shri Yogendra Narain,
IAS:UP/1965 (Retired) who had earlier served as the Chief Secretary,
Government of Uttar Pradesh and retired recently as the Secretary,
Ministry of Defence, Government of India as the Secretary General,
Rajya Sabha for a period of two years with effect from the forenoon
of the 1st September, 2002.
The term of the office of the present Secretary-General,
Shri R.C. Tripathi expires on 31st August, 2002.
