NUCLEAR COMMAND AUTHORITY MEETS
The Nuclear Command
authority had a two hour meeting this morning under the Chairmanship
of the Prime Minister to review the arrangements in place for
the strategic forces programme. On the basis of the recommendations
made by the Executive Council, the Political Council also took
a number of decisions on the further development and management
of the programme. These decisions will consolidate India’s nuclear
deterrence.
