ELECTRONIC WEIGHBRIDGES ON RAILWAYS
Indian Railways
have equipped all the 54 locations with Electronic Weighbridges
for proper weighment of scraps.
These locations
are utilized for weighment of scraps at all depots and sheds from
where scrap material is delivered to the buyers.
Electronic Weighbridges
have been installed to prevent leakages of revenues in the disposal
of scraps.
Meanwhile, the
Ministry of Railways has directed the Zonal Railways to ensure
upkeep and maintenance of these weighbridges.
