is 90.
Sarguja Parliamentary
Constituency has maximum number of Assembly constituencies i.e.
10 and rests of the parliamentary constituencies are having 8
Assembly Constituencies each.
The Assembly Constituency
where 19 candidates are contesting. The Assembly constituency
where minimum numbers of candidates are contesting is Narayanpur
where 03 candidates are contesting.
Out of the 90 Assembly
Constituencies of Chhattisgarh State, the reserved seats for scheduled
Tribes and scheduled Castes are 38 and 11 respectively.
Partywise Congress,
Bhartiya Janta party and Nationalist Congress Party are contesting
from all the 90 Assembly Constituencies.
Total number of candidates
contesting from all 90 Assembly Constituencies is 819.
Out of these 819
candidates 52 are female candidates and 757 are male candidates.
Maximum number of
independent candidates are from Durg Assembly Constituency i.e.
11.
On the basis of number
of electors the biggest Assembly constituency is Raipur where
3,40,135 electors exist and smallest Assembly Constituency is
Mandir Hasoud where 82,119 electors exist.
The maximum number
of male electors are from Durg i.e. 1,73,377 and maximum number
of female electors are from Raipur i.e. I,77,926 like wise the
minimum number of male electors are from Mandir Hasoud i.e. 40,
300 and minimum number of female electors are from same Mandir
Hasoud i.e. 41,806.
Total number of electors
in the State approximately is 1, 35,22,729 of which 67,91,508
are male electors and 67,32,947 are female electors.
Of the total number
of polling stations I the State i.e. 15,671 the maximum number
of polling stations is 2280 in Raipur District and minimum number
of polling stations is 419 in Koria District.
