COTTON CORPORATION DECLARES DIVIDEND

The Cotton Corporation of India Ltd. CMD, Shri Vishwa Nath, has handed over a dividend cheque for Rs.2.5 crore to the Minister of Textiles, Shri Kashiram Rana, here today. The Board of Directors of the Corporation, in their meeting held on March 12, 2003 had announced payment of an interim dividend of 10 per cent on the paid up share capital of Rs.25 crore. The entire share capital of the Corporation is held by the Government of India. This dividend has been declared after a gap of almost 26 years, the last dividend having been declared in the year 1976-77.
