SUPPLY OF WHEAT TO WHEAT PRODUCT EXPORTERS
Exporters of wheat
products will be given wheat from the existing wheat stocks within
the States of Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, Gujarat
etc. Supplies to wheat product exporters were not promptly made
in the past because of several reasons including shortage of railway
wagons. For the States of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala the
requirements of exporters of wheat products will be met by moving
stocks of wheat from Manmad (on trunk route) in Maharasthra. The
exporters are expected to take a full rake of wheat for export
of wheat products.
