CLEARANCE FOR PARTICIPATION OF INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM AT MALAYSIA
WITHHELD
In view of the
developments concerning arrest and detention of around 300 Indian
IT Professionals, in Kualalumpur , Ministry of Youth Affairs and
Sports has decided with the approval of the Ministry of External
Affairs to withhold political clearance for participation of Indian
Hockey Team in 12th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament
at Ipoh (Malaysia). The tournament will be held from March 22
to March 30th 2003.
