A tripartite team
comprising of a representative each from the Workers and Employers'
Organisation as well as from the Ministry of Disinvestment and
the Ministry of Labour, was constituted to assess the impact
of disinvestment on Labour in BALCO and Modern Foods (India)
Ltd. The team has so far visited BALCO on 13-14th
February, 2003.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Labour Shri Vijay Goel
in the Lok Sabha today.
