45 NEW KVs TO BE OPENED
IN 2003-04
Forty-five new Kendriya
Vidyalayas are to be opened in the current year in various States
and Union Territories. These will be opened from the existing
resources of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
Eight Kendriya Vidyalayas
will be closed during this year, mostly in project areas.
This information
was given by the Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development,
Dr. Vallabhbhai Kahiria in written reply to a question in the
Rajya Sabha today.
