The Union Public
Service Commission have declared the final results of the Combined
Defence Services Examination (I) 2002 for admission to the Officers’
Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) for 77th Short
Service Commission Course, commencing in May, 2003. In all 391
candidates have been cleared for the purpose. The list also
includes the names of candidates who were recommended earlier
on the result of the same examination for admission to the Indian
Military Academy Dehradun/Naval Academy Goa – Course, Air Force
Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad Course(s).
The result
of medical examination of candidates has not been taken into
account in preparing the list. Therefore, the candidature of
all the candidates is provisional.
UPSC have a Facilitation
Centre near Examination Hall Building in its campus. Candidates
may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/recruitments
on working days between 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. in person or
over telephone numbers 011-2385271 and 011-23381125 from this
