SPORTS MINISTER CONGRATULATES INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM

The Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri Vikram Verma congratulated the victorious Indian Men’s Hockey Team on its return from a very successful tour of Australia. In a letter addressed to Shri K.P.S. Gill, President, Indian Hockey Federation, the Minister said:

"I am sure the team is now a very strong and cohesive unit capable of continuing their victory march till the Athens Olympic 2004 and regaining India’s pride in the field of Hockey".
