UPGRADATION
OF AN-32 TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT
LOK SABHA
The AN-32 transport
aircraft are presently undergoing modifications in respect of
their avionics and navigation equipment.
Induction of transport
aircraft to meet the operational requirements of IAF is a continuous
process and is resorted to taking into account the demand and
utilization of such aircraft.
This information
was given by the Defence Minister Shri George Fernandes in a written
reply to Shri TM Selvaganapathi in Lok Sabha today.
