EXPORT OF TEXTILES
RAJYA SABHA
As per DGCI&S
data, the textile exports during the first nine months of 2002-2003
i.e. April-December 2002 have amounted to US $8849.4 million as
against the exports of US $ 7814.6 million during the same period
2001, recording a growth of 13.2%.
As per available
DGCI&S data, the textile exports during the year 2002-2003
have amounted to US$1,842.2 million.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Textiles Shri Basanagouda
Patil (Yatnal) in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
