CONSOLIDATION OF FOOD SECURITY
There is a project
proposal on "Consolidation of Food Security in South India- a
University Partnership for Cooperation and Development—Canadian
International Development Agency Tier Project" in a partnership
with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, the University
of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, and the University of Agricultural
Sciences, Bangalore. The project period is stated to be five years.
This information
was given by Shri Subhash Maharia, Minister of State for Consumer
Affairs, Food and Public Distribution in a written reply to a
question by Shri T.T.V. Dhinakaran in Lok Sabha today.
