ILLEGAL PAKISTANIS IN RAJASTHAN

RAJYA SABHA

The Rajya Sabha was informed that about 4300 Pak national belonging to minority communities who came to Rajasthan during 1965, 1971 wars and thereafter are reported to be residing there illegally. The State Government has been requested to advise them to apply for Indian citizenship. Their applications as and when received through the State Government will be processed as per the provisions of the Citizenship Act.1955 and the Rules and Orders framed thereunder.

The Minister of State for Home, Shri Harin Pathak said this in the House in a written reply.
