INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN MINERAL EXPLORATION
LOK SABHA
The Government has
signed Agreements/Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) with the
Governments of France, South Africa, Vietnam, Mongolia, Morocco
and Canada to facilitate bilateral cooperation in the fields of
geology and mineral resources. These Agreements/MOUs envisage
programmes in research and development, technologies and training
of personnel in the fields of mineral exploration and development.
This information
was given by the Minister for Mines Shri Ramesh Bais in a written
reply in the Lok Sabha today.
