THE DEATH OF RAJJU BHAIYYA
The Chairman of the
National Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes
Dr. Bizay Sonkar Shastri has deeply condoled the death of former
RSS Chief Professor Rajendra Singh, popularly known as RAJJU BHAIYYA.
In a condolence message Dr. Shastri said that as fourth ‘Sarsangchalak’,
Rajju Bhaiyya not only provided foresightedness to the upliftment
of dalits while giving a positive direction to Indian polity but
also accorded cohesiveness to nation building by adopting a pragmatic
approach to social equality and preservation of culture. Dr. Shastri
said that Rajju Bhaiyya’s leadership and organisational capabilities
helped in the integration of dalits into the mainstream. He said
that Rajju Bhaiyya was a guide and an inspiration to dalits and
his demise is an irreparable national loss.
