NBCC TO CONSTRUCT PATENT OFFICES
IN DELHI, KOLKATA, CHENNAI & MUMBAI
National Building
Construction Corporation Ltd. (NBCC), a public sector undertaking
under the Ministry of Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation,
has been awarded the work for construction of Patent Office Complex
in four Metro Cities viz. Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai.
Patent offices are being constructed for the Ministry of Commerce
at a cost of Rs.45 crore.
NBCC has also
been entrusted by the Ministry of Urban Development with construction
projects costing Rs.90.34 crore, during the current year, in three
North-Eastern States. Projects include construction of market
for urban poor unemployed youth and women vendors costing Rs.19.78
crore at Manipur, construction of a flyover costing Rs.24.93 crore
in Imphal, a scheme costing Rs.24.68 crore for Storm Water Disposal
for Noonmati areas, Guwahati and a Storm Drainage Development
Scheme costing Rs.20.94 crore for Dimapur town, Nagaland.
