SMT. SWARAJ CONDOLES THE DEATH OF SHRI BISHT

The Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Smt. Sushma Swaraj has condoled the death of ANI Cameraman, Shri Vikram Bisht who passed away here this morning. Shri Bisht was seriously injured in the terrorist attack on Parliament on December 13, 2001. In a message, Smt. Swaraj said that Shri Bisht met the terrorists’ bullets keeping up the highest traditions of the profession of journalism. He not only fought the bullets of the terrorists but also fought his disability equally bravely. She said, it was now that when he was coming out of the worst that he had this unfortunate fall. In his death we have lost a brave journalist and a great patriot, Smt. Swaraj said.

The Principal Information Officer, Shri Sahab Singh has also condoled the death of Shri Bisht.
