LOK SABHA
Under the liberalized
economic regime the Paint Industry has been exempted from licensing
requirements and the investment decision are taken by the entrepreneurs,
based on their commercial perception, which in turn depends
on several factors including the infrastructural facilities
available in various States/Uts. The data relating to the Paints
Industry’s performance as available in the publication of the
Center for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) for 21 sample Companies
are indicative of growth.
