Pakistan has not taken
any concrete step to dismantle the infrastructure supporting
terrorism on its territory, nor has infiltration of terrorist
come to a halt. According to information provided by the State
Government of Jammu and Kashmir there has been a decline in
the incidents of terrorist violence in the State during the
calendar year 2002, as compared to the previous year. Giving
the details in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today the
Minister of State for Home, Shri Harin Pathak said 4038 incidents
took place in 2002 as compared to 4522 in 2001.
