NEW MINING PROJECTS
IN TENTH PLAN
Coal India Limited (CIL) has planned an outlay
of Rs.6343.92 crores for the projects to be taken up in X Plan
period. Details of new mining projects of CIL to be opened during
X Five Year Plan are given below:

Singareni
Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has identified 8 projects with
total capacity of 4.606 mty for X Plan Period for which they have
planned an outlay of Rs.2113 crores. Neyveli Lignite Corporation
Limited (NLC) has identified 3 projects with total capacity of
14.60 mtpa with estimated capital of Rs.6406.87 crores for the
X Plan period for which they have planned an outlay of Rs.5431.72
crore.
