Mrs. Jaskaur Meena
took charge as the Minister of State for Women and Child Development,
here today.
The Minister
briefly discussed issues relating to her Department with the Secretary
and other senior officials. She evinced keen interest in implementation
of programmes run by the Department and its attached and field
offices. Mrs. Meena expressed hope that she would be able to contribute
towards the development of children and women who constitute three
fourths of our population.
