TAKING OVER OF BHARAT WAGON LTD

Department of Heavy
Industries has approached the Ministry of Railways to take over
Mokameh and Mujaffarpur units of M/s Bharat Wagon & Engineering
Ltd. as their captive units. The matter is under examination by
the Railways.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Basanagouda
R. Patil in a written reply to a question from Shri Dipankar Mukherjee
in the Rajya Sabha today.
