RAIL TARIFF REGULATORY AUTHORITY
LOK SABHA
The government has
approved setting up of a Rail Tariff Regulatory Authority by the
Ministry of Railways for rationalization of Rail Tariff. In view
of the implications of such an Authority, the subject matter is
under examination by the Ministry of Railways.
This information
was given by the Minister of Railways Shri Nitish Kumar in a written
reply to a question from Dr. N. Venkataswamy in the Lok Sabha
today.
