OPENING OF MILITARY STATIONS

The Army is in the process of acquiring land at Anandpur Sahib (Punjab), Una (Himachal Pradesh) and Kullu (Himachal Pradesh), for setting up new Military Stations at these places. There is no proposal for setting up of any new military station in Orissa.

This information was given by the Defence Minister Shri George Fernandes in a written reply Shri KP Singh Deo in Lok Sabha today.
