ASSISTANCE FOR MODERNISATION OF POWER PLANTS

Speaker, Orissa Vidhan Sabha today called on Shri Dilipkumar M.Gandhi,
Minister of State for Shipping and held discussion on the development
of Gopalpur Port in Orissa. The Minister agreed to call for a
joint meeting of Secretary, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India,
Govt. of Orissa and M/S MMTC to develop the port on a joint venture
to make it operational for an all weather major port on the Eastern
Coast.
