PM CONDOLES THE LOSS OF LIVES IN STAMPEDE IN NASHIK KUMBH

The Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee today expressed deep shock and grief over the loss of several lives in a stampede at Nashik Kumbh.

Describing the stampede as tragic and unfortunate, Shri Vajpayee conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

The Prime Minister is in Srinagar for the Inter-State Council meeting. He is being kept posted with the latest situation. The State Government has been asked to provide all necessary assistance to the injured.
