PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED BY SSIs

The Small Scale Industry (SSI) Sector is manufacturing over 7500 products in the country. These include chemicals, basic metal industries, food products, electrical machinery, cotton textiles, tools and parts, toys, etc.

As per the Tenth Plan (2002-07) document of the Planning Commission, the target of exports of SSI products by the end of the Plan (2006-07) is Rs. 1,26,000 crore.

The year-wise estimates of exports made from the SSI Sector during the last five years as per latest available information, is given below:
