STRICT ACTION AGAINST HOSPITALS
VIOLATING LEASE CONDITIONS OF LAND ALLOTMENT
Strict action
would be taken as per rules against hospitals for violating lease
conditions agreed to while getting DDA land. Delhi Development
Authority has allotted land to 21 hospitals with the condition
of free treatment to the poor. Out of these 16 hospitals have
started functioning. Land & Development Office has allotted
land to 2 hospitals with the condition of free treatment and both
the hospitals are functioning. Some of the hospitals have been
reported to be not providing free treatment strictly in terms
of the allotment.
This information
was given by Minister of State for Urban Development and Poverty
Alleviation, Shri Pon. Radhakrishnan in a written reply to the
question of Shri Virendra Kumar in Lok Sabha today.
