POWER SUB-STATIONS IN MANIPUR
RAJYA SABHA
According to Government
of Manipur, six numbers of power sub-stations were sanctioned
for Hill Districts of Manipur during 2002-03 financial year. Implementation
of these sub-stations will start from 2003-04. These projects
are being funded by Department of Development of North Eastern
Region and these sub-stations are being taken up on turn key basis.
This information
was given by Smt. Jayawanti Mehta, Minister of State for Power
in a written reply to a question by Shri Rishang Keishing in Rajya
Sabha today.
