SEMINAR ON "MODE OF EXECUTION
OF DEATH SENTENCE"
The Law Commission
has undertaken a study for recommending on the ‘Mode of Execution
of Death Sentence’. Accordingly, it has circulated a Consultation
Paper on the subject. The Commission will be holding a Seminar
on the topic on Saturday, August 9, 2003, at 10.00 a.m. at the
Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. The Minister
of Law & Justice and Commerce & Industry, Shri Arun Jaitley,
will inaugurate the Seminar. Shri Justice M. Jagannadha Rao, Chairman,
Law Commission of India, will preside over the function.

in sending their views on the said Consultation Paper ( which
