INTERNET RAIL TICKET BOOKING AT 35 PLACES NOW


The Railways have extended internet based tickets booking to 35 places now. The on-line tickets are managed through Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, a public sector undertaking of the Ministry of Railways.

The 35 centres where on-line rail tickets can be had are Delhi and New Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bangalore, Mangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Jaipur, Bhopal, Patna, Alapuza, Aluva, Kochi, Kannur, Kollam, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Tiruvalla, Palakkad, Tiruvananthapuram and Trissur.

The tickets booked through internet are delivered to the addresses specified by the customers through courier services. Money for the so purchased ticket is collected by the courier against the delivery of ticket.
