MECHANISM DEVELOPED TO RUN TRAINS IN FOG

RAJYA SABHA

Shri Surajdin Yadav of District Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh has claimed to have developed a new technique by which the train would not lose time during run, in fog. He has also claimed that if the train driver consumed alcohol or has suffered heart attack or has gone to sleep or has been killed or thrown out of the train, even then the train can be stopped automatically at the next station with this technique. Since the proposal of Shri Yadav concerns technical aspects, he was asked to submit the details of his proposal to Research Designs and Standard Organisation (RDSO) for detailed scrutiny. However, Shri Yadav has not yet submitted the same to RDSO.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya in a written reply to a question from Shri Veer Singh in the Rajya Sabha today.
