SALE OF GOVERNMENT STOCKS TO RBI
ON PRIVATE PLACEMENT BASIS
PRESS NOTE
Government of India have announced
the re-issue of 6.25 per cent Government Stock, 2018 for a notified
amount of Rs.3000 crore to the Reserve Bank of India on private
placement basis. This issue will be at a price of Rs.101.40. Government
of India have also announced the re-issue of 7.95 per cent Government
Stock, 2032 for a notified amount of Rs.2,000 crore to the Reserve
Bank of India on private placement basis. This issue will be at
a price of Rs.121.51.
The stocks will be issued
on April 23, 2003 (Wednesday).
